BANNER COVID-19 RESOURCE

Coronavirus Government Resources and Congressional Legislative Action Summary

Congress and the Administration passed three stimulus packages to stabilize the economy and mitigate the impact of the novel coronavirus pandemic. Now the relief packages are law, and federal agencies have started releasing guidance for how small, midsize, and large businesses, along with corporations, can gain access to the resources included in the legislation. This guidance offers clarity for employers and employees seeking to apply for assistance from the United States government.

At Banner, our team has played a role in shaping Congress’ efforts and secured key legislative victories for our clients in the stimulus packages. However, we know legislating is only the first hurdle, and the Administration’s work now begins to implement these massive aid programs.

In an effort to keep you informed, we have compiled resources from across the Administration and Congress to help navigate the path to recovery.
